Powersports marketing agency

Culture Cartel is a Toronto-based powersports marketing agency that builds campaigns, content, dealer programs and activations for off-road, side-by-side, ATV and utility vehicle brands. Our powersports work includes Polaris, Linhai and Club Car, where we ran brand marketing and dealer support across national networks. We sell the ride, then make sure the dealer can close it.

Powersports is a passion category. Market it like one.

Powersports buyers know exactly what they want. They read the forums, they know the spec sheets better than most salespeople, and they are not easily impressed. Spec sheets do not create desire. The feeling of being on the machine does.

That is where every powersports program we run starts. Not the horsepower. The ride.

The second half of the job is less glamorous and just as important. Almost every unit is sold through a dealer. If the campaign creates desire but the dealer cannot convert it, the money is wasted. So we build both sides at once: the brand that makes people want the machine, and the dealer system that gets them to sign.

What we have done in the category

Polaris: campaigns built on the ride

For Polaris in Southern Africa, we ran brand marketing and campaign strategy across the region. Photography, video and social content made to put people in the dirt and on the trail. Activations that put the product in front of riders in the places they ride. Dealer campaigns and materials that pushed people through the doors. The brief had to win serious off-road enthusiasts without losing the lifestyle buyers the brand needed. Dealer traffic went up. Brand awareness followed.

Linhai: holding #1 in value-class

Linhai is South Africa’s top-selling brand in the value-class quad and side-by-side market. Value-class is high volume and high competition, and price alone is a race to the bottom. We positioned Linhai as a lifestyle and utility leader that felt rugged and accessible rather than cheap. We built a central marketing hub that supplied the national dealer network with content and lead-generation tools, led all photography and video, ran advertising across digital, social and traditional media, and built the websites that take buyers from product to local dealer. Linhai held its #1 position.

Club Car: two buyers, one brand

Club Car sells golf carts to courses and utility vehicles to commercial operators. In South Africa we ran all of it: advertising, dealer development and co-op support, trade shows and activations, held to Club Car’s global brand standards. One integrated program, with room for each segment.

How we run a powersports program

  • Ride-first creative. Campaigns and content shot where the machines are used. See our video production work.
  • Dealer toolkits. Co-op assets, local ad templates and sales material so every dealer looks like the brand. Our advertising and digital marketing teams build the lead flow behind them.
  • Activations and shows. Demo days, trade shows and events where people get on the machine. See brand activation.
  • Web that routes to a dealer. Product discovery that ends at a dealer locator or a lead form, not a dead end.

Where the proof was earned, and where we are now

We are straight about this. Our deepest powersports work was run from Johannesburg for Southern African markets. Culture Cartel is now a Toronto agency, and Canada is a powersports country with long seasons on snow, trail and water and a dealer-led sales model we know well. The playbook travels: brand standards from head office, speed at the dealer level, and content that makes people want to ride.

If you run a powersports brand or dealer group in Canada, start a conversation. We will tell you quickly whether we can help, and what we would do first.

Questions

Asked and
answered.

Do you only work with manufacturers, or with dealers too?

Both. Our Polaris, Linhai and Club Car work covered the brand and the dealer network at the same time. We build the national campaign and the local toolkit that lets each dealer run it in their own market.

Was your powersports work done in Canada?

Most of it was run from Johannesburg for Southern African markets: Polaris, Linhai and Club Car. Culture Cartel is now based in Toronto and brings the same dealer-network playbook to Canadian brands and dealers.

How long does it take to get a campaign live?

A focused seasonal campaign with content and dealer assets usually takes 4 to 8 weeks from brief to launch. A full brand and dealer program takes longer and is scoped in phases, so something ships early while the bigger system is built.

Can you produce the photography and video?

Yes. We led creative direction on all photography and video for Linhai and produced ride-first content for Polaris. We shoot machines where they are used, not in a studio.

How much does a powersports marketing program cost?

Scoped per project. Entry points like the Brand Audit are fixed in scope; pricing on inquiry. Start a conversation at /start and we will tell you quickly what is worth doing first.
