Automotive marketing agency

Culture Cartel is a Toronto automotive marketing agency that builds lead systems, websites, local search and paid media for dealers and car buyers and sellers, plus brand work rooted in motorsport culture. Our automotive proof is CanBuyCars, where we built the Snap My Car appraisal app and the lead engine around it, and F1inTO, our own Formula 1 property in Toronto, whose next chapter, GRID+CLUB, is launching soon.

Our automotive proof, stated plainly

We will be straight with you. Culture Cartel is not a dealer-group agency with dozens of rooftops on the roster. Our automotive proof is narrower and deeper: one client where we built the whole lead system, and a motorsport property we own and run ourselves. If you need someone who understands how cars get bought and sold online, and how car culture actually behaves, that is the case.

CanBuyCars: the trade-in is the moment that matters

CanBuyCars buys and sells vehicles across the Greater Toronto Area. When we came in, its marketing was fragmented. Discovery happened online, appraisals happened in person, and leads fell through the gap between the two.

Our read: a seller decides how much effort a car is worth long before they visit a lot. Make the appraisal fast and easy from a phone, and the rest of the funnel has something to work with.

What we built:

  • Snap My Car. A mobile appraisal app we conceived and developed. The customer snaps the vehicle, and the app triggers automated dealership workflows behind the scenes.
  • Omnichannel lead generation. Instagram, Facebook, Google Business Profile and targeted email as one engine, with creative for buyers, sellers and financing, including Spanish-language ads.
  • Local search. SEO, GEO and geo-fencing to capture high-intent regional traffic. When someone nearby searches to sell a car, CanBuyCars shows up.
  • One look. All graphic design and the website architecture, from a winter tire promo to the sell-your-car flow on mobile.

The co-owner, Nicholas Dauberman, put the result simply: steady growth and increased momentum since we came on board.

Motorsport culture: F1inTO and GRID+CLUB

Car brands sell more than transport. They sell belonging. We understand that from the inside because we built two motorsport properties in Toronto.

F1inTO is Culture Cartel’s Formula 1 watch party property. We took it over and built it into the biggest race day in Toronto: brand, identity, digital, partnerships with Monster Energy, Side Launch and The Loose Moose, and the race-day experience itself. Its next chapter is GRID+CLUB, a membership for the same community, launching soon.

For an automotive brand, that means we know how to reach the enthusiast audience on its own terms, at events and online, without looking like an advertiser who wandered in.

Questions

Asked and
answered.

What automotive work have you done?

Our core automotive client is CanBuyCars in the Greater Toronto Area, where we built and ran the full marketing system: the Snap My Car appraisal app, the website, SEO and GEO, paid social, Google Business Profile and email. Our motorsport culture work is F1inTO, which we own and operate, and its next chapter, GRID+CLUB. We are not an agency with a long list of dealer groups, and we will not pretend to be.

Can you help a dealership get more trade-ins and sell-your-car leads?

That is exactly the CanBuyCars problem. We treated the appraisal as a product, not a form, made it fast from a phone, and connected it to automated dealership workflows. Then we pointed local search and paid media at it.

How long does it take to see leads moving?

Paid media and Google Business Profile work can start producing leads within weeks of launch. Search, GEO and a custom tool like an appraisal app take longer, usually a few months to build and settle. We phase it so something is earning early.

Do you run Spanish-language or multilingual ads?

Yes. For CanBuyCars we ran Spanish-language ads alongside English creative for buyers, sellers and financing. Toronto is a multilingual market and the media plan should reflect it.

How much does automotive marketing cost?

Scoped per project. Entry points like the Brand Audit are fixed in scope; pricing on inquiry. Ad spend is separate from our fees and set to your volume targets.
