The brief
F1inTO is Toronto’s Formula 1 watch party. We took it over and built it into the biggest race day in the city. The next step was never a bigger room. It was a reason to stay between races. GRID+CLUB is that step: F1inTO’s next chapter, under a new name, on gridclub.ca.
The insight
A race day lasts two hours. A season lasts nine months. The fans who fill the room every race want somewhere to belong in between, and partners want a year of attention, not an evening. A watch party is an event. A club is a property.
The work
One property, a new name
GRID+CLUB is not a second brand standing next to F1inTO. It is F1inTO’s next chapter: the same room, the same crew and the same race-day app, with a club built around them. The wordmark is a geometric stencil, cut in two bands with the top half set a stroke ahead of the bottom. Volt, black and Chakra Petch carry the rest of the kit.
A free door
The Grid Pass is the free tier: priority invites, prize drops and first dibs on race days, with room for paid tiers on top when the season calls for it.
Three letters, three brands
Race Drops for race week, GIRL+GRID for women in Toronto’s racing world and OFF+GRID for everything between race weekends. Each one has its own crowd and its own voice.
What members get
A race-day box office with tickets for every race weekend, seated, bar or walk-in. Prize drops in the room on race day. An album for every race, ready to share the morning after. A volunteer crew programme for the fans who want to run race day with us.
The engine underneath
Every race day still runs on the engine behind the F1inTO app: capture at the door, play for entries, a live draw, every fan scored and a purchasing model that predicts who will buy next, so the next race fills itself.
Where it stands
Set up, branded and ready, and not launched yet. The waitlist is open at gridclub.ca, and f1into.ca stays the front door until launch day.
One property. The next chapter.
GRID+CLUB is the new F1inTO.
Same room. Same crew. Same race-day noise. F1inTO became the biggest race day in Toronto, and GRID+CLUB is what comes next: a new name and a club built around that room, so the people who fill it every race have somewhere to belong between them.
